Scott Porter is an American actor who portrays Jason Street on the Friday Night Lights television series.
Biography[]
Scott was born in Omaha, Nebraska. He has two younger siblings: a younger brother named Brendan and a younger sister named Ariana. Scott attended Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Florida. He played a wide receiver on the school's football team and graduated class of 1997. Scott also worked as a babysitter and didn't have time to party. He attended the University of Central Florida and sang in an acapella group named 4:2:Five and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Scott met his wife Kelsey on the set of Friday Night Lights. Kelsey was the casting director on the series and a former cheerleader at the University of Texas. Scott and Kelsey were married in April 2013 and have two children together, a son named McCoy Lee (born 2015) and a daughter named Clover Ash (born 2017).

- Scott is an X-Men fan. His former co-star Taylor Kitsch actually approached him for tips when the latter was preparing for his role as Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
- His favorite X-Men characters are Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Havok. If he were to pick a Marvel hero to play, he'd choose Hawkeye.
