Taylor Kitsch is a Canadian actor and model who portrays Tim Riggins on the Friday Night Lights television series.
Biography[]
Taylor was born in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada to Susan Green and Drew Kitsch. His mother, Susan worked for the British Columbia Liquor Board and his father, Drew worked in construction. Taylor has two older brothers named Damon and Brody and two younger maternal half sisters. His parents divorced when Taylor was one year old and his mother raise him and his older brothers in a mobile home park. Taylor attended Gleneagle Secondary School in Coquitlam, BC. He played ice hockey for the Langley Hornets of the British Columbia Hockey League but got injured in 2002. After his injury, Taylor attended University of Lethbridge in Alberta for a year and took nutrition and economics classes. In 2012, Taylor purchased a 3.64 acre plot of land in Lake Austin, Texas and in 2015 he started building a house there, similar to what his character Tim Riggins did at the end of Friday Night Lights.
