Zach Gilford is an American actor who portrays Matt Saracen on the Friday Night Lights television series.
Biography[]
Zach was born Zachary Michael Gilford in Evanston, Illinois to Anne and Steve Gilford. Zach attended and graduated from Evanston Township High School. He earned a Bachelors of Art degree from Northwestern University. Zach was a trip leader for the company Adventures Cross Country and lead teenagers on adventure trips to California, Hawaii, Alaska and British Columbia. He also worked at the YMCA Camp Echo in Fremont, Michigan. In 2010, he met and started dating his now wife Kiele Sanchez, whom he met on the set of the series "The Matadors". Zach and Kiele were married on December 29th 2012. The couple have one daughter named Zeppelin Adele, born in 2017.
